Well, the count down is on and entries have now closed.
We over 40 different submissions that will be exhibited from the bottom of Norwood Ave to Hinsby Beach. we have buskers, food and drinks, pop up activities and even an interview on Local ABC Radio on Saturday with Chris Wisby. Now is the time to remind all your friends of what a wonderful day we have planned. Lets face it, Taroona Beach is a great place to spend a day even without so much to celebrate. Dont forget to bring a hat for the Mad Hatter's Tea Party. Don't forget to bring a heartfelt offering to our community labyrinth creation gathering. Starting at 10am well known labyrinth maker Mark Healy, recently returned from global labyrinth making and local enthusiast Judy Keen will team up to make the first labyrinth of Taroona. Hoping that you all support this project by contributing flowers, feathers and stones and we start the dreaming for a permanent labyrinth here in the future.
As part of the Taroona Art Trail Jimmy's Skate and Street will be holding a fun day at the skate park. Heaps of rad art stuff going on all day with food etc nothing too serious for the skate stuff. Bunch of fun little comps with prizes etc yiew! The hobart FireFlies will mesmerise you with fire dancing while two workshops take advantage of the darkness. An Astrophotography workshop with Kelli Nalder and Bat tracking with Lisa Cawthorn will kick off about 9.
